Jackson Badgenoone, pronounced Badge-No-One
Pseudonym, a loving reminder of all the souls that never drew breath. |
Jackson BadgenooneWhat do you see when you look out at a meadow or a hill, a creek or an ocean? Jackson Badge-No-One sees life.
Jackson was conceived from the union of a Colonial Soldier and a Native American woman. Jackson never drew breath but her spirit lived on in the universe of the never born. Her voice emerged from the wind and clouds, whispering to the thoughts of her extended family. When Jackson made herself known, she invented a surname in order to write a story in the twenty-first century. She came to make some sense of the conflict that permeates civilization. As one of the Neverborn, she has borne witness to the lives of specific individuals for countless years, acting as a faithful recorder of events and significant moments. The Hidden Treasure of Dutch Buffalo Creek is one of many books which she has penned alongside her kindred Neverborn spirits. She is an avid researcher and ghostwriter, and continues to document the high water markers of her beloved clan to this day. |
The Badgenoone Progenitor, and founder of HTN
Jackson Badgenoone is the muse, and her instrument is Vincent James Vezza. He considers the following.
" Did you ever experience a moment that stopped you dead in your tracks? I did, when my first grandson discovered a bayonet that had been in my family for over two centuries. He asked me about the purpose of the blade. What could I say to an eight year old? After he left I began to craft a comprehensive answer. Under the pen name of Jackson Badgenoone, I poured a lifetime of experiences into a book titled The Hidden Treasure of Dutch Buffalo Creek. It incorporates chapters from several other books that comprise the Hidden Treasure Novels High Water Marker series. A sequel novella Neverborn and several short stories followed.
