Reviews - The Hidden Treasure of Dutch Buffalo Creek
"Otherworldly ghostwriters compose biographies for ordinary people in this playfully metafictional novel." |
This Book is a Treasure
"A most interesting read from beginning to end. Well written, and packed with sometime forgotten events that will fill a history book. This book would be ideal for discussions at book club meetings."

Good, inspirational read
"Fasten your seat belts as you prepare to go on a magic carpet ride though history. Pursuit of the hidden treasures will take you from the Trail of Tears through today with glimpses into the future. The journey features the tale of two families with roots on both sides of the Atlantic. Interestingly, the telling of the story is done by a group of Spirit Beings who oversee everything and guide the writer---and the reader---through the generations and centuries.
This delightful saga had me entertained, educated, and very often identifying with many persons and events. Best of all, one might be inspired to seek out the hidden treasures in his or her own family story and pursue them for their own enlightenment and for the benefit of subsequent generations. This was exactly my experience; one I might have missed had not the Spirits conspired to arrange a completely random meeting between a most significant character in the book and myself. Never doubt that they exist and are at work."

An Ethereal, Poetic, Time-Warping Saga
The past, the present and the future all coalesce in this ethereal journey in search of meaning and spiritual purpose. The story weaves back and forth, from one life, one era, one point of view to another, much as one family might share their insights and experiences each to the other, only to realize that their multiple experiences are really one.

Reviews - Neverborn
As the founder of Reflections Grief Recovery, I look for valuable resources for grieving people. Jackson reveals a world of pain and loss, but skillfully weaves hope and recovery through this novella. I highly recommend this book as an encouraging and realistic view of loss and recovery.

Neverborn is deep and precise. It is a must read for people searching for spiritual guidance in a confused and broken world. I would personally recommend this novella in counseling situations where women and men struggle with the hard decisions experienced by the characters of this story.

I’ve never read anything like this story. I suspect that the originality will be appreciated by readers seeking help with excruciating challenges. I plan to include this book as a resource in my Life Sessions course.
