High Water Markers of Frederick’s Observee, by Frederick Badgenoone
Frederick Badgenoone observes the life of a woman named Mimi. She was the daughter of the man named Frederick described in Elizabeth Badgenoone’s book. Her mother was Mary. Her father-in-law was a man named Jimmy. Her mother-in-law was named Charlene. Her husband was James.
Mimi was one five children who survived birth. She came of age in a decade partially defined by Ike, the Mickey Mouse Club, drive-in movies, and a world full of promise, for some.
During the course of her lifetime she discovered the challenge and pain that visited the others. Some of the pain would visit her at the most inopportune moments. Her story describes how she overcame those moments. It provides encouragement to others in her generation who thought about giving up. It also contains guidance for the next generation.
