My walking buddies and I decided to make a range of written material available to other hikers who frequent the Buffalo Creek Preserve and Trail. This month the story was written by Gerald Moose. Titled "Our Barefoot Doctors" it considers T'ai Chi, Gerald's avocation. About Gerald Moose: Gerald studied T’ai Chi under Robert W. Smith while living in Washington DC. Married to Rita McNamara Moose for 46 years, Gerald and Rita are blessed with four children and two grandchildren. About Tommy Doonan: Tommy retired in 2014 after twenty years with the Brown-Forman Corporation, and an additional twenty-five years in the hospitality industry. With retirement he began writing poetry, essays, and short stories with a focus on every day people and events, as well as his memoirs. He is an active member of the North Carolina Writers’ Network. Dr.Craig Scott is a prolific writer. He also happens to be a pastor. Craig has been in ministry for 20 years. He holds a Doctor of Divinity degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
