When History Matters

At a gathering of writers and readers on October 20, 2019, author James Polk reads a short story that describes the plight of his ancestor who was captured during the Civil War. James is a frequent contributor to the Trail Tales series published in Senior Savvy. The presentation was delivered at the Eastern Cabarrus Historical Society at an event titled "When History Matters" hosted by the Society and the Friends of the Library.
